Seneca County has over one thousand youngsters involved in 57 different 4-H clubs.  Led by 216 adult volunteer leaders, 4-H is dedicated to helping today’s youth grow as leaders in their communities through Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.

Seneca County 4-H sponsors over 200 different projects. 4-H projects include traditional involvement, the Cloverbud program geared towards those too young for traditional involvement, Junior Leadership and Junior Fair Board. The 4-H year begins in January and continues through the Seneca County Fair, which takes place at the end of the summer. In addition to the fair, many different countywide programs occur during the year.  These include 4-H Roundup and 4-H camps.

To be involved in 4-H, youths must be 9-years-old or currently in the third grade and no older than 18-years-old at the start of the activity year in January.
