Family Counseling Services provides counseling to people of all ages. Counselors are trained to help with a variety of individual, family and marriage issues. Referrals are also available.

The cost of services is on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. A twenty-four hour telephone answering service is available to take appointments.

The staff is composed completely of volunteers who answer phones and schedule appointments. Volunteer counselors, some of whom are graduate students supervised by professional counselors, conduct clinical interviews and provide client support.

“Family Counseling Services is a great place because the intern students are top-notch,” said Craig Swartz, a counselor at Family Counseling Services.
